Before we found out that our baby was a boy people would always ask me, "What do you feel like it is?". Uhhh... a baby??? I didn't know how to answer that and at the same time it made me question my intuition as a mother. A lot of women would go on to tell me that they knew exactly what their baby was the whole time and the ultrasound did not surprise them one bit. I say that is luck. I even tried comparing my pregnancy to other friends pregnancies and if anything mine matched up with the friends carrying girls.
So, did you "know"???

Since February...
2009 will go down as a BIG BIG year for the Webb family, and I'm not just talking about Bradley and DeLa Webb.
On March 7th John Evan proposed to his girlfriend Alicia. They set a wedding date of October 16th.
On March 10th I realized, "something should of happened by now...." and took a pregnancy test. It was positive. I didn't believe it and rushed to Wal Mart to buy 50 more. Some were iffy (now I realize they were faint because I was so newly pregnant) some were blatently positive and one was negative. I called Bradley and told him and he told me to call the doctor. They couldn't see me until the END OF MARCH, which seemed like forever and I needed to know the truth... uh like today! I continued to take pregnancy tests up until my appointment, all of which were positive.
March 31st finally came and my doctor confirmed I was indeed pregnant. Not only that but because they had waited so long to see me, I was far enough along for an ultrasound! I had pictures of what looked like three connected dots. Cutest dots ever. We began telling family shortly thereafter and everyone was so excited.
June 5th... the day we found out "it" was a "him". I cried through the entire ultrasound. The last time I had seen my baby it was three tiny dots... and now its looks like a baby and is jumping all over the screen. Of course Bradley was very proud of his new son and smiled so big the whole time.
The sickness faded away and the little punches and kicks started, but they didn't stay little for long. Baby Travis Wayne gets the World's Strongest Fetus award... for sure!
June 26th I got to see my boy again. He was sleepy that day and just hung out while the nurse took his pictures, he did manage to kick the wand every now and then though. Everything was perfect, right on track. He just needs some baby fat!
That's where we are... just waiting. His nursery is coming along slowly but surely. I will post pictures when it starts looking less like a blank canvas.
Before the end of the year the Webb's will have hit many milestones:
John Evan got engaged
We found out we were pregnant
John Evan bought his first house
We found out it was a boy
John Evan and Alicia will be married... Bradley and I are in the wedding... It's a month before my due date!
We will welcome Travis Wayne into our family
